wellbuild has previous experience in using a load bearing helicopter to lift mechanical units in a live university environment. 3 months of planning with the helicopter company and CASA for a 25 min lift of heavy equipment. better than a crane with a long span.

wellbuild lifted mechanical units for a project at Macquarie University. the helicopter based at Parramatta was able to lift the 4 Mechanical pieces of equipment onto the roof top right into position. a rigging crew and mechanical contractor assisted the process. all organised through CASA. It was windy on the day which made the lift more challenging. a large lift area was established with noone allowed under the lift path.

It involves engineers, safety meetings, creating clearance zones for safe lifting. consultation with the crane company, council, traffic control and NSW Police. To ensure traffic is not effected and cranes are off the road as per requirements. DCP tests are completed for ensure bearing capacities and loading on suspended slabs is adequate to take the load.
